Starhub Cable TV will end their long running EPL Coverage on it's platform on a real high with nine LIVE Matches and one as Delayed Telecast in this Sunday highly anticipated Season Finale ! And out of the nine LIVE Matches , two will be made available for FREE to all Starhub TV Subscribers !
Burnley vs Tottenham & Hull City vs Liverpool Match will be made available LIVE for FREE this Sunday on two of Starhub Free Channels - Starhub Preview Channel ( Channel 101 ) & SuperSports Arena ( Channel 201 ) respectively , with the rest of the six Matches on their usual Channels - five on their Football Channel and two on their SuperSports Channels ( not including the Hull City vs Liverpool Match on SuperSports Arena Channel ) . All Matches will kick off at 11pm - Singapore Time .
The only Match to be shown as Delayed Telecast on that night will be Everton vs Portsmouth , which Football Channel 222 will carry the match at 1.30am . Following the current Season coming to a close after this Sunday final round of Matches , Starhub Cable TV will also end it's long running LIVE Coverage of Europe most popular League on it's platform !
From next Season onwards till Year 2013 , EPL LIVE Coverage will be on a new Pay TV Cable platform - SingTel miotv ! That is , from the upcoming new 2010 / 2011 EPL Season which kicks off this August till Year 2013 - that is how long SingTel miotv has secured the LIVE Broadcast Rights for the most popular European League ! Starhub Cable TV Subscribers meanwhile will just have to make do with LIVE Action from the Spanish La Liga , Cola Cola Championship , German League , French League , and on top of that - Asia's regional Leagues : J- League & S.League as well as the Brazilian League in their lineup of LIVE soccer broadcasts , with occasional International LIVE Matches from the Euro 2012 Qualifiers and the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers and International Friendly Matches , during the period of three years without EPL LIVE Coverage on it's platform .
So , one can't help but really feel that , perhaps this Sunday's nine simulanteous LIVE Coverage on nine different Channels , with two LIVE Matches being made available for FREE is indeed a really very fitting way to reward all Starhub TV Subscribers for their long continuous and unwavering support all these years towards the Cable TV Station EPL Coverage as Starhub TV end their long running EPL LIVE Coverage from next Season onwards !
So it will be Goodbye Starhub and Hello SingTel miotv as the new 2010 / 2011 EPL Season kicks off this August !
