Starting from today onwards , soccer fans will be finding themselves having to press brand new Channel numbers to watch their favourite teams in the Series of weekly LIVE EPL Matches over the weekend !

Liverpool and Chelsea soccer fans will be pressing Channel 222 instead of the usual Channel 27 on this Sunday to catch the BIG Match LIVE ( at 8.30pm - Singapore Time ) , same goes for Man United fans who will have to catch their favourite players in action on the same channel number , after current League Leaders Chelsea finished their Match at Anfield , by which , The Red Devils may find themselves four points behind before kickoff , should The Blues manage to beat Liverpool .

On Saturday , those interested in the three horse race for fourth spot in the League , which will gurantee THE one very lucky team a Champions League Qualification spot next Season will be able to catch the three teams in action across three Football Channel too , but all on their new Channel Numbers !

No , I am not referring to Singtel miotv impending takeover of EPL Broadcasting rights from next Season onwards or the migration of ESPN Star Sports Channels to miotv from July onwards ! Rather , this is a huge change that is likely to affect many EPL soccer fans from 30 April 2010 onwards ! As with immediate effect from that date onwards , all Starhub TV Channels numbers will be changed and this also includes all Sports Channels too ! All Sports Channels will then start from the 200+ range onwards !

Starhub Football Channel can no longer be found on Channel 27 , but on a very easy to remember new Channel number - Channel 222 ! Same goes for Super Sports & Super Sports PLUS Channel , which will be reallocated to Channel 202 & Channel 203 respectively . Super Sports Arena which airs LIVE S.League Matches on Wednesdays and Fridays and selected Delayed Telecast German & Spanish League Matches on a weekly basis will now be found on Channel 201 .
